Welcome to the 8x8x8-LED-CUBE wiki!

What LED cube is all about-

Its a cube purely made up of LEDs which glows in sync and shows amazing patterns in 3D. We at Drishti have made one consisting of 512 LEDs (ie. 8x8x8 cube). It uses a micro-controller and a multiplexing board that gives energy and controls these enormous amount of LEDs.

What the new LED cube is supposed to have-

Lets have a wired gesture sensing glove that will take 6 direction movement from the user. According to this an LED on the cube will have freedom to move in the entire cube, that will eventually try to catch another already lit stationary LED. the moment both of them meet, the position of the stationary LED is changed to another random value.

Skills required-

   Knowledge about Multiplexing   
   Proficiency in AVR set of micro-controllers about wireless and accelerometer modules  

Difficulty level- HARD (ready for the challenge! ?)
