Phasmophobia Ghost Helper Tool is a simple overlay tool to aid new and veteran players in their quest. It boasts a system to help find the right ghost by:
- Marking a piece of evidence as confirmed (Green)
- Marking a piece of evidence as plausible/suspected (Yellow)
- Marking a piece of evidence as excluded (Bright Red)
- Ghost types marked dark red are confirmed excluded by your cofirmed (green) evidence
- Marking a piece of evidence as Impossible (Gray) happens automatically when you mark a contradicting evidence as green (confirmed.)
- Allowing you to put the ghosts name in the name box so you don't need to remember it.
It also provides a hover over system for the ghost's name labels to show you exactly what particual evidences you need to prove which ghost it is. This will aid users in focusing on that more reliable piece of evidence they are waiting on.
Additionally there is a one line input for the Ghosts name. No longer will you need to treck back all the way to the van to obtain this critical info.
The main focus of it all is to reduce time spend flipping through the journal desperately reading page entries. And make that process a nice quick hassle free thing. Just remember as this does not plug into your game whatsoever to access it you need to press esc when in game or if windowed alt-tab out and click the buttons then click back into the game.
Since this tool is entirely python based (And comes with python 3.7.8 including pillow module) it is free for all to use. Only exception being the "watermark" which just includes the developer's (My) socials (Twitch link | Twitter handle | Youtube link).
You are asked not to remove this watermark especially as a creator. However if you really need that tiny bit of extra space back let me know and I will get it removed after coming up with an amicable replacement. Contact me via (twitch.tv/deathtech154, @deathtech154, youtube.com/user/deathtechdb)
While shortcut keys are still a work in progress for me to add you can only interact with the tool by clicking on it. Although how can you when the game locks your mouse to movement?
A. Press escape then interact with the window.
B. Press j for journal then interact with the window.
C. When in the lobby menu simply interact with the window.
D. Alt-tab out of the game and interact with the window. (But be sure to use the icon at the taskbar to put the game back up.)
