This merge adds:

  • spack support for gnugpu and crayclang(gpu) on Frontier
  • It updates the number of cores per node to 64 to match the documentation and what slurm sees.

Testing

I was able to build Omega with gnu, crayclang and crayclanggpu on Frontier and run CTests. I will test again with gnugpu shortly using the fixes suggested in E3SM-Project/Omega#52 (comment).

I was able to build MPAS-Ocean with gnu and crayclang (the latter with the fix in E3SM-Project/E3SM#6193) and run the pr suite.
