Rosé Pine for GNU GRUB

This is not the official Rosé Pine GRUB theme. This is an alternate set of unofficial GRUB themes using the Rosé Pine palettes.

All natural pine, faux fur and a bit of soho vibes for the classy minimalist

Usage

If you use Arch Linux or a derivative, the PKGBUILD in the repository can be downloaded and used instead.

1. Download or clone this repository to a folder. The examples below use /usr/share/grub/themes.
2. Modify the file /etc/default/grub to use the theme, using one of these examples depending on the theme you chose.
3. Rebuild the grub.cfg file: sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

The Arch Linux package built with the included PKGBUILD extracts the theme to /usr/share/grub/themes/rp-alt-grub-1.0 instead. See this issue

Updating

A grub-mkconfig is usually not needed, but is safe to run after updates

• If you cloned the repository via git, just use git pull to update.
• If you downloaded it from the UI, redownload and extract the files to the correct path above.
• If you used the PKGBUILD, download the new PKGBUILD, less PKGBUILD and read the thing to make sure it's safe, then makepkg -si
