This has some fixes for #685 - now the label text should be updated.
Also for #633 - as long as you load the label file first, then load the configuration, the labels should get the correct colour (for a reason I've not yet worked out, the GUI colour is changed, but incorrectly!)
Next: make it so that the label text is saved with configuration (will get around the ordering issue)
