I'm not sure what icon is appropriate here.

Perhaps mdiFlipHorizontal? You can search through the material design icons on sites like https://mdisearch.com/.

also suggest changing the watch button to represent the direction the chat dock will happen in mdiDockLeft vs mdiDockRight

This has been a great mode in MultiView. After doing it manually for months, this implements it in
/watch. Togglable in Settings.Use case: Have 2 monitors. Left monitor is center, where my focus is, displaying other content. Right monitor to the side has Holodex. Chat on the left places it closer to my center of focus.
