The package is ported from a previous implementation of Bolometric calculations written by Charlie Hill (https://chillphysics.com/about/) and available at: https://github.com/chill90/BoloCalc
As of the initial version, the overall flow of the computation, as well as the set of configurable parameters, the ouputs and the equations used to perform the calculations are taken from the original version. This version changes the way in which the configuration is handled, and vectorized the computations.
Setup from bash
git clone https://github.com/KIPAC/bolo-calc.git
cd bolo-calc
python setup.py develop # this works better than python setup.py install for now b/c the example configuration files live in the package
