Save Darryl the baby turtle from danger! Darryl is a very curious, very newly born, very adorable little turtle that just wants to make friends. Little does Darryl know, that the innocent looking things on this cruel new world he has been bought into wants to kill and eat him! Darryl will interrupt you and try go back to the evils on the beach. You have to look after Darryl and keep him alive! Make sure he reaches the shore and joins the rest of his adorable turtle kind.

In April 2020, I participated in my first Ludum Dare game jam. The theme for Ludum Dare 46 was Keep it Alive. Whilst brainstorming some ideas, I came up with an idea of preventing the character from getting into danger. The rest of the games theme came from the events in nature of baby turtles racing to the ocean whilst avoiding dangers on their way. This entry was made using Unity3D and Pyxel Edit to create the graphics. This game came 657th out of 4900 total entries to the compo.

Move with the WASD keys, when Darryl moves to a dangerous area mash A & D to stop him from moving towards the danger.
