Entire detail panels redrawn causing lots of flickering when moving mouse over 2d or 3d scatterplot points.

To reproduce:
Open a map and create multiple detail panels and panels of either or both 2d and 3D Scatterplots.

If you drag the mouse over points in the scatterplot diagram, it should be updating the selections on the maps, but the dendrograms don't need to be redrawn. Sometimes the redrawing causes the whole map in the detail panel to change size. This all causes a lot of unnecessary flickering, especially with the redrawing of the dendrograms. Sometimes it can continue for a while after you've moved the mouse off of the scatterplot in question.
