You start at the Dawn of Time, and have to discover new skills, resources and technologies in order to progress.
Colaborate with villages and rival other settlements on your journey towards understanding the world.
- Learn Professions and master them to gain access to new abilities and recipes.
- The progression is guided by a thorough Advancement system.
- Unique items, recipes and dimensions.
- A large assortment of both Magic and Tech content.
- Please keep in mind that Scientia is very far from being complete. Things can still change drastically. That being said, you are free to make content with it as long as you notify your viewers that the modpack is incomplete, and report issues you come across.
Join the Scientia Discord, and ask for permission to contribute/test the modpack. If accepted, follow these steps to setup your workspace:
- Fork the Scientia repository.
- Clone your fork to your PC, I recommend using Sourcetree.
- Download the latest manifest.zip from the
files
channel in the Discord. - Import the manifest.zip using Twitch or MultiMC.
- Move the
mods
folder from your imported instance into the folder you made in step 2.
You're done!
To update, the steps are as follow:
- Pull from master from the Scientia repository into your fork.
- Delete the mods folder from your local instance.
- Repeat steps 3-5 from the setup.
- You will need to allocate at least 3GB of RAM to Minecraft to run this modpack. 4-5GB is recommended.
