Uplink
Signet is the provider for the camping site. Signet agreed to upgrade the connection to 200 mbit/s.
We're planning to setup a BGP session with Signet and announce IPv6/IPv4 space.
EventInfra will be deploying the local network infrastructure (contact on IRC: AK47).
On the camp site you can get uplink via these methods:
The following general SSIDs are provided:
- NLNOG-camp (WPA2 802.1X, 2.4GHz and 5 GHz)
- NLNOG-camp-insecure (open, 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
- eduroam (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz)
You can use nlnog / nlnog or guest / guest when using MS-CHAPv2 inside TTLS or PEAP, or choose any username/password combination when connecting with PAP inside TTLS.
The SHA256 fingerprint of the server’s certificate is: 2D:5E:83:79:8A:34:F1:FB:0F:35:1D:58:67:6F:51:55:4C:B1:27:95:DF:0D:C4:DB:E9:D5:84:E6:2C:47:43:03
The subject CN on the certificate is radius.eventinfra.org. It is signed by Let’s Encrypt for your convenience, though the fingerprint is the thing to check.
Experimental: use outboundonly / outboundonly to only allow outbound traffic from your device, giving you basic protection and a way to save battery usage.
In the workshop/lecture tents there will be wired connectivity as well (1Gbit/s copper with 802.3af/802.3at). If your tent needs a wired uplink, feel free to plug in.
