Data Storage and Archive

If you are using FRE workflow to conduct production runs, the model output will be transferred to the GFDL archive and can be used for further post-processing and analysis. Output directories are placed in the $archive/$user directory like the following:

/archive/$user/fre/$FRE_STEM/experiment_name/platform-target
|-- ascii - directory containing text output files

|-- history - directory containing output as specified by the diagnostics table

|-- restart - directory containing datasets which can be used as initial conditions for future runs

|-- pp - directory containing post-processed history output
