What is a Curricular Model?
Curricular models, are in general, for internal use of the Center for Connected Learning and Computer-based Modeling at Northwestern University. In order to ease the distribution of NetLogo-centric curricula, we sometimes host those curricular models within the Models Library in a folder called Curricular Models
.
While these models must still meet the guidelines of NetLogo Models Library review process, they are, in general not expected to be as "perfect" as a Sample Model. This is by design. These models are designed as integral teaching tools within a curriculum. As such, making changes to these models is not recommended without communicating with the curriculum author.
At this time, we do not accept public submissions for inclusions to this folder, as it is reserved mostly for published curricula that are undergoing active research in classrooms around the country. If you're interested in hosting models for a class or public demo, we highly recommend utilizing NetLogo Web.
