Note: this is a work-in-progress project and may be incomplete at the moment of reading. Please stay tuned for the upcoming updates.

Note 2: The facts in this wiki are presented according to my own experience and my explanations may sometimes be incomplete or not totally illustrate the technical truth. An expert's opinion would be appreciated.

Welcome to the libnds Practical Wiki!

This wiki is meant to put all the available Nintendo DS development resources together for those who want to learn DS programming and have no idea where to start from.

This wiki includes details about hardware, explained code and examples. It also contains information about the devkitPro's libnds and its dependencies exposed in a more formal way than the original documentation.

For completion reason, but also for backup purposes, this wiki may reference and reproduce other sources related to DS programming. This may spare one from having to try his luck on archive.org hoping to find what is needed. All the tutorial are personally tested before being added to this wiki. Check the NDS programming-related pages/resources for more information.

All the environment-related explanations are available only on Windows machines. It will probably be support for other OS-es in the future but it is not guranteed.
