LCA discussion list ideas

After some thought, this is proving more difficult than expected. Specifically, I (Chris Mutel) can't understand the argument of Nigel Howard:

No allocation is needed for any item of known quantity flowing across the boundary (physical reality preserved and these will all be mass/elemental/thermodynamically balanced). ONLY the inputs/outputs from transformation processes need allocation and this should always be economic. (Mass/elemental/thermodynamic balance will also be retained in the allocated fractions of the balanced inventory for the transformation processes).

Economic allocation by its nature breaks mass balances...

So I think this wiki page will not be that productive after all.
