Archon is in it's very early stages, and should be considered pre-Alpha at this point.

Archon is a Greek word that means "ruler". The server will help you take control of your home and your internet connection.

Archon is a server to manage everything in a home, while at the same time helping to removed everything from the cloud and protect a family's privacy at the same time. Archon uses open-source software to allow anyone to audit the software and see exactly what the software is doing without hiding anything. A majority of the software will be installed via docker to make it easier to manage everything using a web interface such as Portainer.

Anyone wondering why Jellyfin was chosen can look at this Compare Media Servers page. The main reason is open-source support and full client/server architecture.
