Fresh Produce Inventory Tracker

About the Project

The fresh-produce tracker will be implemented to allow fresh produce-store owners to track the stock and quality of their produce through various methods. These methods will include using a scale which is placed at the bottom of a shelf, the initial combined weight of all individual items on the shelf is compared to the current combined weight of items on the shelf in order to calculate the current quantity of that specific item in stock. Security measures will be implemented to ensure the safe and ethical use of the fresh-produce tracker.

Full Stack developer that specializes in Java, Javascript, CSS and many more with more than 8 years of experience in each, as well as UI Design.

Raymond Boonzaier

I am a Bsc Knowledge and Information systems student with great interestin the field of datastorage as well as the extraction of relevant information from large volumes of data through data mining making that data mean something relevant to what I will find interesting. I have some experience in the field of data engineer where I have to model data into valuable information as well as having experience in systistical analysis. I prefer to work in the backend of the project with a focus on the database as well as creating relevant data models through statistical analysis.

Awelani Murovhi

I am studying BSc Information and Knowledge System (Software Development Stream), I'm interested in the front-end work and thus I'll be working on the client side of the project.

Heinrich van Tonder

For this task I will set up documentations and keep it up to date through the development stages, and I will be working on the backend of the project, focusing on the communication between the physical scale and the software.

Michael Geere

I am a final year Computer Science student who has a passion for the back-end of software development. Every now and then I have experiemnted with front-end development but believe my strength lies in database connections.
