Mechanics

  • Health is tied to your ranged attacks
  • Pillars block the way in each map, use bones to activate them
  • Enemies drop bones when defeated, and bones piles restore a health everyone once and awhile

How To

How to add a projectile

  1. Create a GameObject and give it the name of the Projectile
  2. Attach the Projectile and ReturnToObjectPool scripts to the GameObject
  3. (Optional) Configure the projectiles values
  4. Save the prefab

How to add a ranged weapon

  1. Create a script that inherits from the Weapon class
  2. Create a GameObject named after whatever weapon you're creating
  3. Attach the above weapon and the ObjectPooler scripts to the GameObject
  4. (Optional) Configure the weapon values
  5. Add the references to the Character weapon holder and projectile prefab.
  6. Save the prefab

How to add melee attack

  1. Add the MeleeAttack script to your game object
  2. Select the "enemy layers" that the attack will be able to affect (usually Player or Enemies)
  3. (Optional) Configure the weapon values
  4. Save the prefab

How to create a DevOps pipeline

  1. Copy the .github/workflows/main.yml file
  2. Create a personal access token
  3. Paste the token in the ACCESS_TOKEN secret at the repo level
