Key metrics worth paying attention to:
- total masks delivered
- daily masks delivered
- total volunteers
- total active volunteers
- weekly volunteer growth
- total facilities requesting masks
- total open mask demand 8 - others?...
here are the two welcome packets we send out - it's useful to have read these to understand how it works today so you can have the proper context when thinking about features you're working on or thinking up NEW features yet to be discovered!
- state leader packet: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1W1PH8s8a8igKxmRJXOn91whb3qb0rhcbpEgee4Z4RPg
- national volunteer packet (internal/back end): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZjeLN1sxb7rh_SZUZ0_zcRdcWHUqJosxkfuETZyLRX8/edit#
- department slack channels & main volunteers who will know the things: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1AM7CIIzPFFgHz_llOPyTC5q2NTLqOgJwB-VeIkBd0P4/edit
State leads do a lot of things. Some of which are:
- Onboard new volunteers
- provide orders to sewists to fulfill.
- connect distributors with sewists and facilities
- more...
These people want to access updated pattern packets and get what is essentially an order to fulfill
These people have supplies such as thread, material, etc... It is important to note that these can be somewhat large donors. Providing hundreds of yards of fabric.
These volunteers hear word from the lead to go pick up/drop off supplies or completed masks at facilities
We need volunteers who can do things. See here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JJNrPswxznGHsOI26stysEphJXv6JBxS8uE_JV-1Tz0/edit
Facilities of all types have signed up through our simple (and somewhat clunky) process to ask for sewn masks. An in-exhaustive list is below:
- Hospitals
- clinics
- pharmacies
- Please add more when we know more
- Native forms for volunteer and mask request pages
- Better email system that allows leads to email the appropriate views w/o using shared SendGrid
- more, will think of later
