Sivil Noether is a 39 years old was raised in rural Ohio before moving to Philadelphia to attend Drexel University for Digital Arts. After graduation, Sivil moved to England to work at Virgin Records in the visual production department developing music videos for various large name bands. Building somewhat of a name for himself within the field, Sivil was approached by an professional big-name band who wanted to remain label independent while having top quality music videos. They offered Sivil a well paying position as their lead graphic designer, specifically to direct and rotoscope live action and CGI footage into an end product for their music videos. Sivil decided to use Snaky Business' rotoscoping software to make the videos, as he could not use the software provided by his job at Virgin. Despite being freeware, Sivil knew that this app had the features to support his professional talent and vision, whether it was brushes, line transitions, filters, or beat and object tracking. This would, in turn, be an introduction to doing classic animation - an area that he had long wanted to pursue professionally and creatively. This foundational animation technique, found in Fleischer Studios early cartoons, Disney's early films, and modern Japanese animated shows, would be the very type of work he would be conducting for the band.
