Redmine plugin that adds new custom field format, that allows to have Enumerations whose values are set in the project

How it works

What it does

• Adds a new value in the CustomFiels types : Project Enumeration

  To manage a Key / Value list whose possible values are configured in the project. The key is stored in the custom_values table

• Adds a new value in the CustomFiels types : Project Values List

  To manage a Values list whose possible values are configured in the project. The value is stored in the custom_values table

• Adds a new permission : manage_project_enumerations

  This permission allows to edit Project Enumerations values for the project. When a user has this permission, 2 new tabs appear in the Project Settings (depending if Custom Fields of the new type exist or not)

• Manages Enumeration statuses like for Versions :

  If Enumeration is locked or closed, possible value will not be present in the dropdown list (depends on the Custom Field status configuration) :

  

• Splits Custom Field Project configuration by Tracker

  • Rewrites app/views/projects/settings/_issues.html.erb

  • Adds three Hooks in this partial :

    • view_project_settings_tracker_before_checkbox
    • view_project_settings_tracker_after_checkbox
    • view_project_settings_issues_custom_fields

• Tested with Redmine V4.0.3

  • Redmine::FieldFormat::ProjectEnumerationFormat

  To manage : Project Custom Fields configuration, split by tracker (optimization)

• 🔑 Extends Projects Helper project_settings_tabs method

• Adds new methods to Project model
