It doesn't make sense for a map editor to have ground detail set super freaking low, nor to have a low feature draw/fade distance. Also the back asswards scroll wheel behavior is super annoying.

While I can understand your intentions, I think this PR doesn't take a few things into consideration:

  • Having custom GroundDecals and FeatureDistance values would introduce visual difference between editing and release versions of the map. If it would be possible to export or override default versions I'd be more inclined to accept these changes, but if not, they'd break the WYSIWYG core feature of SB which I think is important to maintain.
  • Creating mouse zoom behavior that's different from default engine settings will just make the program less usable by a different user subset. For example I don't have any issue zooming in SB and this would revert things for me. I don't think I'm the only person

I also agree with aeonios on this. Inverted mouse is something i believe only a very few use. For BAR we got the question "how can i reverse the mouse" a lot, and set it to default. Would be nice to have this option in SB at least.

Also, a slider for featuredrawdistance would be nice.
We also have this in BAR, and default we have set this pretty high.
I also think a mapeditor should have a large distance as well, because you want to efficiently work on your maps and features, and now you have to constantly zoom in pretty far to even see your features.
