- Update to Minecraft version 1.18 experimental snapshot 2.
- Add Crimson Fungus Artifact.
- Add Rabbit foot Artifact.
- Add Depth Mending Artifacts.
- Add Guidebooks that can be found throughout the world with lore and mechanics.
- Add /artifacts command with various debugging/cheat tools.
- Add ascension based effect mode with doStrainsOnAscension gamerule
- Add Pica Spirit Boss with multiple stages and mechanics.
- Optimize CPU times for almost everything. In general, things are much faster.
- Add warning to clients trying to run the mod client-side.
- Add localization for horror messages.
- Add more horror messages.
- Remove lore lines from artifacts for a more vanilla-like feel.
- Add github wiki (this is not really a change to the mod but i'll just add it here anyway)
Fixes:
- Fix crash caused by brewing stand mixin.
- Fix Wither talisman 3 having incorrect NBT data.
- Fix crash caused by clients trying to run the mod client-side.
- Fix doNauseaWithPoisonStrain gamerule.
- Probably some other unknown bugs as the codebase was heavily refactored.

Features:
- Update to MC 1.17 (still intended for 1.18+ usage)
- Add Artifacts that can be found in the world. These have special effects and capabilities. These inclued Prism of Sloth, Shield of spoiler, Wither Talisman, Poison Talisman and Strain Meter.
- Add resource pack needed for localization of Artifacts. It is recommended to install it as the server resource pack!
- Add new Goat sounds to insanity effect
- Remove
NVCancelSpeedMultiplier
gamerule for compatibility with new artifacts.
Balancing:
- Large changes due to introduction of aformentioned artifacts.
