An easy way to setup your daily use programs and tools plus a full script to bring MacOS experience to your KDE without boring customizations.
- git clone repo in home dir
git clone http://github.com/Sy3Omda/.doty $HOME/.doty
- navigate to repo and
chmod +x *.sh
- run
install.sh
script to install desired programs & tools separately OR select to install all at once. - run
kde.sh
script to automate customization your KDE. - select to install both Macos whitesur & Mojave and finally accept restoring config file, Firefox and reboot.
You can also:
- Restore my ready made config file (kde.tar.gz) in your $HOME dir to apply every thing.
- backup your config again if you made sepecific customizations to your KDE.
i have made a costum Mozilla Firefox profile with a MacOS feel and look and installed some addons which i consider necessary for surfing websites.
if you gonna restore it, it will erase your current Firefox profile, so consider backup your Firefox profile in case you need it later or ignore this if you just installed your distro.
