Welcome to the newly rebranded RiiConnect24 + WiiLink Patcher! This patcher does everything you need to get RiiConnect24 and WiiLink installed automatically! Sit and watch :)

The patching process takes only a few moments depending on your CPU and connection speed.

This new major update rebrands the WiiLink Patcher to incorporate the RiiConnect24 brand as well as the services they provide, under the same patcher! This release doesn't, however, include extra features such as being able to download extra channels, such as Today & Tomorrow Channel, Photo Channel, Internet Channel, etc, but will be included in a later release.

NOTE: Executables will be properly renamed in the next update, they remain the same in this build in order to not break the auto-updater in previous versions.

Changelog:

  • Rebranded the WiiLink Patcher, now known as RiiConnect24 + WiiLink Patcher
  • Included remaining WiiConnect24 provided by RiiConnect24
  • News Channel no longer needs any patched IOS files, thanks to mkwcat!
  • EULA channel now included for vWii users for WiiConnect24 channels
  • Express Install setup has been shortened and simplified to require less steps
  • Swapped order of channels with RiiConnect24 channels being at the forefront
  • WiiLink (regional) channels now optional to install in Express Install setup
  • Altered color scheme of the patcher
  • New macOS-arm64 build!

Bugfixes:

  • [macOS and Linux only] SD cards and USB drives should be properly detected on the macOS versions of the patcher.
  • Redone way that files are downloaded, hopefully not timing out as much or at all.

Upcoming:

  • Extra downloadable channels will eventually be made available, such as Today & Tomorrow Channel, Photo Channel, Internet Channel, etc.
  • Localizations will be made for the RiiConnect24 + WiiLink Patcher so that it can be used with more languages! This will come in a future minor update. In the meantime, only English is supported.

Terminal Usage Guide for macOS and Linux Users:

This requires the use of your OS's Terminal! If you've never used it before, please search for how to use commands like cd, chmod, etc. so you understand how they work.

  1. Open Terminal.
  2. Navigate to the patcher file:
Use cd /path/to/directory (replace /path/to/directory with your patcher's folder location).
  3. Make the patcher executable:
    • macOS: chmod +x WiiLink_Patcher_macOS_v2.0.0 (use macOS-arm64 for M1/M2).
    • Linux: chmod +x WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<architecture>_v2.0.0 (replace <architecture> with arm64 or x64).
  4. Run the patcher:
    • macOS: ./WiiLink_Patcher_macOS_v2.0.0 (use macOS-arm64 for M1/M2).
    • Linux: ./WiiLink_Patcher_Linux-<architecture>_v2.0.0 (replace <architecture> with arm64 or x64).

Ensure you're in the patcher's directory when executing these commands. You can also adjust file permissions via a graphical file manager.
