This is the standard test and release workflow as mentioned at repository PR ioBroker/ioBroker.repositories#3297.

Normally it should work out the box. The benefits are

  • required adaptions to test can be oerfomed centrally
  • *-alpha releases are filtered from latest repository automatically reducing manual corrections
  • worflow and file name test-and-release can be automatilly located and checke at repo tsets reducin manual work

But in any case - THIS IS A SUGGESTION ONLY and will not block stable reviews. Using your own tests will be ok as long as they perform the same minimal functionality tests.

In any case please check carefully before / after merging. Especially the sentry integration might need adaption depending on you personal sentry setup.
