Overview
========

0. make_rll_grid_descriptor_file:
---------------------------------

Make grid-descriptor files for regular lat-lon grids

1. create_netCDF_from_rawdata
-----------------------------

Program to make netCDF version of the GMTED2010 elevation and MODIS land fraction data.
(also support USGS gtopo30)
This netCDF file is used as input for bin_to_cube.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS STEP REQUIRES PYTHON AND GDAL LIBRARY. TO BYPASS THIS STEP

	create_netCDF_from_rawdata/gmted2010_modis-rawdata.nc
	create_netCDF_from_rawdata/gtopo30-rawdata.nc

2. bin_to_cube:
---------------

Bin high resolution elevation data (on regular lat-lon grid) onto cubed-sphere grid.
Creates intermediate cubed-sphere data for cube_to_target.

3. cube_to_target:
------------------

Remap elevation data to target grid and compute associated variables.

4. cesm_meta_data_compliance:
-----------------------------

Python script to add CESM meta data to topography data file (must be done manually: "make cesm_compliance")
