After two years of dedicated development, the latest major release of Batch Antivirus has arrived, bringing powerful new features and modules designed to significantly enhance system security and boost overall performance.

NEW MODULE: Launcher
Added a launcher for Batch Antivirus to make Batch Antivirus usage easier
It features a simple menu which allows the user to launch individual modules interactively. -
NEW MODULE: Website blocker
Block custom websites and IPs while real-time protection web protection is active. -
NEW REAL-TIME MODULE: Process scanner
Real-time protection now actively scans all the running processes for malware. -
UPDATED MALWARE DATABASE:
VirusDataBaseIP.bav
Thanks to an extensive malicious IP list from urlhaus-filter, more than 59k IPs have been added to the database. -
IMPROVED MODULE: Deep scanner
Deep scanner now searches for 26 different patterns including anti-VM, password theft and attribute changes
The detection has been fine-tuned to reduce false positives while detecting malware more accurately. -
IMPROVED MODULE: Real-time protection
Strengthened kill protection with independent monitoring of the watchdog and primary process. -
IMPROVED MODULE: Scan interception
Scan interception module has been merged into a single file and features the ability to completely revert the changes made by it

IMPROVED MODULE: Threat detail
The threat detail module has been expanded to display more accurate description of the detected malware present inside the database
Furthermore, the module can also give detailed information of the possible threats inside a file by passing its path. -
IMPROVED MODULE: Disk scanner
It now base64-encodes quarantined files for more safety and numerous bug fixes and improvements have been done. -
REWORKED MODULES: Merged 'USBScan.bat' and 'USBCleaner.bat' into a single, improved utility
They now scan every single drive and the autorun.inf malware detection has been improved.
