In some cases, my package would edit temporary files, but the long filen path is really annoying. Is there api to overwrite the default file path?

In the next update, long file paths still get cut off, but they can now be scrolled horizontally.

Programmatically truncate a long file path + a tooltip might still be a good idea. Like `/private/va...UdtC22e/.bashrc
