Within the AVI ELF II Build Wiki we have documented the build process for ease of assembly of the AVI ELF II and associated expansion cards. Below find links to the boards in this series:
The AVI ELF II Rev D Variant single board microcomputer is a replica of the Netronics ELF II microcomputer that was reimagined by the late Ed Keefe (1964-2022) to maintain the aesthetic of the original ELF II, with additional onboard RAM and daughter cards for flexibility of keypad encoders and display drivers.

The LED Matrix Display board is a plug-in daughter board that locates directly in front of the Hex keypad, replacing the original 2-digit LED Data display to provide an updated, larger, dot matrix display with 4 digit address and 2 digit data which include additional messaging to indicate load mode and reset. This board requires 3 - 8x8 LED dot matrix displays, 3 - MAX7219 IC's and 2 - PIC Micro 16F1826 microcontrollers.

This Expansion Card is equipped with 128KB RAM / 32KB EPROM, an SD Card slot, MAX232, a DB-9 serial connector and a TTL Serial header (for use with a standard USB to serial converter cable) and provides a multitude of firmware options and CDP1802 ELF disk operating systems.

The VIP Keyboard for The AVI ELF II is an add-on card that works in tandem with the ELF II SD Card board to provide VIP compatibility to your AVI ELF II computer. The resulting system can be used to load VIP programs in binary or hex format from the SD Card and run them using the Chip8 interpreter. An add-on cassette tape interface board allows for loading and saving form a cassette tape recorder.

The Hyperboard is a decendant of the Netronics ELF II Giant Board but the Hyperboard includes modern enhancements for additional RAM and EEPROM, input/output ports and serial connections. The board is equipped with 32KB RAM / 32KB EPROM, CD1852 Byte-Wide Input/Output Ports, CD1854 UART, Cassette IN/OUT and a proto area.
