What does Baristi stand for?

Someone making coffee in a cafe is usually called Baristo. Baristo is Italian, so actually it would be Barista (female) or Baristo (male). The plural (female or male) is Baristi. To sum it up, we are the ones making coffee. And we love making and drinking coffee just as much as we love making and using Open Source software.

What does Moka stand for?

Depending on how exactly it is written (Moka, Mokka, Mocha, ...) there are lots of meanings. The one we are referring to is Moka as in Moka Pot. To sum it up, for the ones loving pure simplicity, Moka is a great way of making Espresso. Moka, the web application framework, aims to be a highly productive web application framework, built with pure simplicity, enabling you to make and drink good Espresso ... ahm ... web applications ;-)
