This pull request is meant to explain the mockups and discuss any questions arising from the design.
The root is the first screen on first launch, subsequent launches should remember the last item you were on and go back to that section. This is changing the navigational structure from a tab based app to a navbar based app (with some custom transitions). The icon in the top right would go to the stats screen (modally) and the icon in the top left would go to the settings screen (modally).
