Description of the EverydaySurf project

I started this project in order to play around with NextJS and Auth0 authentication. This idea is to only allow logged in users to log their surf sessions. The idea is to make this product evolve as a personal project, if time allows. You can see it running live at EverydaySurf. It is still a work in progress. In this app, I play around with protected pages, protected API routes, resources, etc... I still need to implement some tests, TailWindCSS or similar, make the UI fancy, verify emails on subscription, add new screens, etc... Hopefuly, I will find the time to do that soon.

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev
# or
yarn dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
