Integration with Coffee Machine

If we can find a way for the ChumPi gadget to interface the coffee machine's electronics, we could use it to implement some nifty features, e.g.:

  • Statistics about coffee consumption
  • Control shortcuts

The machine already maintains an internal statistic about coffee consumption. Unfortunately, there is no documented electronic interface for it. The statistics can only be browsed on the front-panel LCD by using the inner service keypad.

A sufficiently reliable way to get consumption information would be to intercept the product selection buttons.
