Consider best practices handbook (inspired by: https://www.sc-best-practices.org/) that outlines how we do things in the lab (narrow the scope to get started, for example, just annotations)

• Gene ids
• Chemical ids
• Which databases we query

Alternatively, we may choose to document some of these elements in JUMP Hub.
