I’m Allistair from Texas (currently Houston, relocating to Austin soon.) After years as a journalist and an attempt at independent game development, I settled on web development and have been having a blast learning! I Still know some C# from my time with Unity but have focused on Javascript recently. I’ve been doing FreeCodeCamp alongside Udemy and other courses.
I’m a fan of basketball (go 🚀Rockets!) and video games. I also watch movies, TV, anime and enjoy reading about developments in psychology and neuroscience. Oh and music. So much music!
I want to build my team skills including get more comfortable with Git in a group environment. I also want practical challenges for my current skill set. I also hope to learn a bit more from peers with more experience. I want an end-project that I can add to my portfolio and show to employers come April-May (I’m moving to Austin in April.)
My name is Karthik from Bay Area as well. I have been computer networking/automation/testing most of my career. I am moving towards development now. I have been working on Angular for past month at my work. I have some knowledge of html, css, js. I am planning to work on this project after work and weekends. Nice to meet you all.
My name is Shav, from the Bay Area, California. I've been studying web dev for about a year and a half. I'm not currently working at the moment, so have a lot of free time off to study more, kind of want to get into more backend stuff. I like to go to meetups on my free days, usually programming related.
