To edit the homemenu contents, we need to get them. We'll use Godmode9 for extracting the homemenu romfs which is the homemenu contents.

  • Hold the start button while booting to open godmode9, if you have a "luma chainloader" menu, just select Godmode9
  • Go to the following path (ctrnand = [1:] on sysnand or [4:] on emunand):
    • EUR: ctrnand:/title/00040030/00009802/content/
    • USA: ctrnand:/title/00040030/00008f02/content/
    • JPN: ctrnand:/title/00040030/00008202/content/
    • KOR: ctrnand:/title/00040030/0000a902/content/
  • Select 000000XX.app, go to "NCCH image options", "Mount image to drive" and press A
  • Select the romfs folder (don't go inside) and press Y to copy it
  • Go back to the main menu by pressing B, go to SDCARD and press Y again to paste the folder (press A to confirm)
  • Once it's done, you can turn off by pressing home and "Poweroff system"
