Development build
This is an automatic build of the latest version from head of git, for development and testing only --- it's passed the tests but no human has checked to make sure it works properly. Don't download this unless you know what you're doing!
WordGrinder 0.8
Windows users: download the exe. Unix/Linux users: download 'Source code'. Nobody: download the Debian tarball (it's here for reference only and is missing all the dependencies).
This started out as a bugfix release but I got a bit carried away. New features include, but are not limited to:
- a new paragraph style for numbered bulletpoints
- more look-and-feel options
- the caret now flashes in Windows and X
- basic template support
- word count display of selected text
- custom autosave directory
- autocompletion in file dialogues
- Windows console version
- recent documents list
- Markdown import
- bugfixes
WordGrinder 0.7.2
Windows users: download the exe. Unix/Linux users: download 'Source code'. Nobody: download the Debian tarball (it's here for reference only).
It's been a year since the last release, and there are bugs to fix: mostly minor (see the changelog for the full list), but also fixed are some obscure but catastrophic bugs which could occasionally cause data loss incidents. Everyone, please upgrade!
WordGrinder 0.7.1
Windows users: download the exe
. Unix/Linux users: download 'Source code'. Nobody: download the Debian tarball (it's here for reference only).
Hot on the heels of 0.7, there's a point release --- this one contains no actual code changes, but has some rearranged source and better licensing documentation.
If you are running 0.7, there is no need to upgrade (unless you care about such things). If you're running anything below 0.7, please do upgrade.
