I want to use the latest version of ddtrace
So that we stay up to date.

Additional Info and Resources

Changes for #2184 pinned ddtrace to ~2.17 because upgrading to v2.18 resulted in deployment failures. This is a ticket to upgrade ddtrace to the latest version when feasible.

Acceptance Criteria

  • ddtrace has been upgraded to > v2.17 (whatever latest is)
  • Log into DataDog, and make sure everything looks right
  • Manually close the dependabot PR if necessary
  • This work is added to the sprint review slide deck (key win bullet point and demo slide)
