Safekeep is a backup manager, centrally orchestrating the backup of any number of boxes.
It's easy to setup: it runs out-of-the-box with reasonable defaults, and all configuration is centrally stored on the one box where the manager is running.
All backups are incremental (for network traffic and storage efficiency), while at the same time keeping the latest state always available. We get to eat the cake and keep it too -- we combine the convenience of a mirror with the efficiency of incremental backups.
It is build around rdiff-backup, enhancing it with easy deployment, database dumps, and snapshotting.
