Installation (Windows 7)

Launch the downloaded .MSI file and select Next |

If prompted with a User Account Control dialog, select Yes |
|
When the installation completes, select Finish |
|
Locate HDHomeRun Status Monitor in the Start Menu and launch it |
|
Locate the Up Arrow in the Windows 7 System Tray and click it. Click the Customize... link to open Notification Area Icons |
|
Locate HDHomeRun Status Monitor and change the setting to Show icon and notifications . Click OK to close Notification Area Icons |
If you want the application to start automatically at login:
Click on the HDHomeRun Status Monitor tray icon to open the application. Click on the gear icon to open the Settings dialog. Locate the Start Automatically setting, and change the setting to Enabled |

Click on the Unpin button to collapse the application back to the System Tray |
