## Deployment
## Create an issue

`activeadmin_reorderable` is published on http://rubygems.org. The
following steps are necessary to push a new version:
If you find an issue, or you'd like to request a new feature, [open a github issue](https://github.com/dkniffin/activeadmin_reorderable/issues/new).

### Build the gem
## Submit a pull request

`gem build activeadmin_reorderable.gemspec`
If you know how to make the change, please submit a pull request (PR). This makes it much easier to
accept the change

This will produce an artifact named roughly
`activeadmin_reorderable-<version>.gem`.
1. Fork it ( https://github.com/[my-github-username]/activeadmin_reorderable/fork )
2. Create your feature branch (`git checkout -b my-new-feature`)
3. Commit your changes (`git commit -am "Add some feature"`)
4. Push to the branch (`git push origin my-new-feature`)
5. Create a new Pull Request

### Publish the gem
In order for the PR to be merged, the test suite must pass, there must be no conflicts on the
merge, and it must be merged by a maintainer.

`gem push activeadmin_reorderable-<version>.gem`
## Issue and PR reviews

You may bump into permissions issues if you have not been added as an
owner on the gem.
Another way you can help is by reviewing issues, trying to reproduce bugs, and providing feedback on PRs.

## Reviews
## Pushing a new version

All changes should be submitted through pull request. Ideally, at
least two :+1:s should be given before a pull request is merge.
First, you must be authorized on both rubygems.org and npmjs.com. Then:

1. Update the ruby gem:
- Update the version in `lib/activeadmin_reorderable/version.rb`
- `gem build activeadmin_reorderable.gemspec`
- `gem push activeadmin_reorderable-X.Y.Z.gem`

2. Update the npm package:
- Update the version in `package.json`
- `npm publish`

3. Update the changelog.

4. Tag the version in git:
- `git tag X.Y.Z`
- Add the same text as the changelog to the tag description
- `git push origin X.Y.Z`

Your resource classes must respond to `insert_at` ala the [`acts_as_list`](https://github.com/swanandp/acts_as_list) API. You don't need to use `acts_as_list`, but if you don't, make sure to define `insert_at`.

## Installation
### Importmap

- Add `gem 'activeadmin_reorderable'` to `Gemfile` and run `bundle install`
- Add `import "activeadmin_reorderable"` to JS entrypoint (a JS file that is included for activeadmin)
- Add `@import "activeadmin_reorderable";` in your CSS style file

NOTE: no need to pin the import in your application. That's handled internally by the gem.

### Sprockets
- Add `gem 'activeadmin_reorderable'` to `Gemfile` and run `bundle install`
- Add `#= require activeadmin_reorderable` to `app/assets/javascripts/active_admin.js.coffee`
