Thanks for this revision @joe-desimone! I have an edit to consider; I'll also add the version label to the PR to make sure this gets into 8.13 docs (we use mergify for backports, and it looks for these labels) — feel free to add other version label if this needs to go into earlier docs versions.

Also, once this PR gets finalized and merged, I can take care of updating the serverless docs with the same description.
