Ugh, wait, didn't mean to merge this yet. 😬 Oh well, won't hurt anything but this doesn't solve the hive issue I was seeing. |

WIP PR to add a
shouldRefreshflag to the client so we can turn off the bucket refresh as needed (mainly in hive tests where too much activity can cause the test to timeout)
