August 2024 DEI SIG event Co-hosted with AnitaB.org Boston Community

Following the Wellington ambassador event in Boston, Paula collaborated with the Boston Community Lead for AnitaB.org and joint interest in combining our event budgets for an event in August.

Expect to finalize details by mid June and begin promoting the event together with AnitaB.org.

This event has been scheduled, and will be held on Wednesday evening, August 28th, in the historic Coolidge Corner Theater and community room in Boston. Paula will deliver an overview of why open source matters, with a FINOS overview and highlighting FINOS participation in the Grace Hopper Celebration. AnitaB.org funded the venue and the film rental, FINOS Ambassadors are providing light refreshments. We are capped at ~44 people and look forward to a great networking event with personal connections.
