Flashing Instructions

  • Prepare the environment
    • Unzip Firmware to a folder
    • You can see Flash Tool in the folder, named "AndroidTool.exe", and MatchStick Flash Driver in the "Driver" folder
    • You need a micro USB cable to connect MatchStick device to PC
    • Flash Driver Support: Win7(32/64bits), Vista(32/64bits), WinXP(32Bits only), Win2000(32bits only)
  • Steps to Flash
    • Launch the AndroidTool.exe
    • Connect the micro USB cable to PC.
    • Long press reset key and connect the micro USB to MatchStick device.
    • Windows will prompt you to install driver for MatchStick Flash Device, or you can also find MatchStick Flash Device in Windows Device Manager, then you should install appropriate driver in"Driver" folder according to your Windows version.
    • Confirm AndroidTool status bar shows "Found One LOADER Device", as shown in Figure.
    • Press “Run” button, then waiting for the flashing until the list view of right side shows "Download image OK" which means flashing successfully.
    • Now you can disconnect MatchStick from PC.
