This upgrade wended up a bit more complicated than I thought. There seem to have been an openssl related vulnerability that prevented a 'regular' upgrade from happening.
I ended up created a new docusaurus app v2.4.1 and taking the content of the generated package.json. I also needed to remove and recreate yarn.lock because it simply could not resolve the dependency correctly.
