TOURNAMENT MODE
That's right ladies and gents, there is now a tournament mode version of amiibox.
Tournament Mode Changes
general:
- modified intro screen
limitations:
- custom
regions.txt
removed in favor of the following:- abilities
- learning (1 or 0)
- type
- level exp
- attack
- defense
- gift
- costume
- mii fighter special moves
- attack and defense stats are tethered together and their total modification cannot surpass 5000
- there is no way to edit values as binary
- hex view removed
- access to chrome developer tools removed
benefits:
- the ability to experiment with spirit combinations and levels with ease
- not forcibly nicknamed with a "box" symbol
- not internally tracked
- an arguably-cooler intro screen
This effectively means you can use this version to avoid burning yourself out on trying to get the amiibo to level 50, and instead focus on improving the amiibo's AI through the traditional method of beating the crap out of them in-game. You'll also be able to participate in amiibo tournaments with a clean conscience.
General changes
- clicking by the heart near the top-right of the program will now open the default browser and take you to my ko-fi page.
- added a mark to the top-left distinguish "full" build vs "tournament mode" build
