It took some time and energy to make the release notes and all of the recordings (which we credit in the full release notes) like we credit who tested the release or made specific improvements, if it's being copied wholesale from the one I wrote, maybe nice to record that as well? (feel free to reject, maybe it's just my ego talking).

This seems to be a free text field afaict?

Seems like a no-brainer to credit the person who wrote it.

The authors field is just a string at the moment, but once we're done with the Community Directory feature (#1551) it'll be a structured dict.
