PairMatic is a real-time multi-user web application for coordinating the assignment of pairs from a programming team.

To install PairMatic for development or to run a server from your local host:
# install node.js if you haven't before
wget http://nodejs.org/dist/v0.6.11/node-v0.6.11.tar.gz
tar -xzf node-v0.6.11.tar.gz
cd node-v0.6.11
./configure
make
make install # possibly with sudo prefix
# install PairMatic
git clone git://github.com/gleneivey/pairmatic.git
cd pairmatic
npm install
Start a PairMatic server by going to the directory where you installed it and executing:
npm start # possibly with sudo prefix
Once running, you should be able to access PairMatic by directing your browser to http://localhost/
